Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription medication approved for managing type 2 diabetes and is also being used off-label for weight loss. It’s a once-weekly injectable drug that mimics two gut hormones: GLP-1 and GIP, which help regulate blood sugar and appetite.
